Our Story

In 1989, a casual conversation between Lisa Rose and her mother, Charlotte Rennie, turned into something neither of them expected.

Lisa was frustrated — she couldn't find the "perfect" handbag anywhere. Charlotte's answer was simple: make your own.

That evening, armed with a lifelong love of fabric, a family history of sewing, and no shortage of vision, Lisa made her handbag. It was perfect. And it was the spark for a new company: Rennie & Rose.

In 1997, Lisa's husband Greg joined the growing business, and together the family built something bigger than a handbag — a full home décor line built on the same instinct that started it all: if you can't find exactly what you're looking for, design it yourself.

Today, every Rennie & Rose piece begins with premium fabric, richly woven on jacquard looms, and inspired by the art, architecture, and history we love — from Louis Sullivan's stained-glass windows to Charles Rennie Mackintosh's ginkgo leaves. Each pattern starts as a story before it ever becomes a placemat.

We're still a family company. We still believe in Made in USA craftsmanship. And we're still chasing that same feeling Lisa had in 1989 — the moment you find the thing that's exactly right for your home.
