Babson House Table Runner – Inspired by Historic Prairie Architecture
This distinctive design is inspired by the stunning windows of the Henry Babson House in Riverside, Illinois (1907). Designed by the legendary Louis H. Sullivan, with major contributions by George Elmslie—his chief draftsman and ornamental designer—this Prairie-style home featured remarkable geometric stained glass that captured the spirit of early modern American architecture.
Though the original home no longer stands, this runner preserves its legacy. The geometric motif is paired with rich, harmonious colors and expertly woven textures—crafted exclusively for Rennie & Rose.
